Wargrave Scout Troop will be attending the WINGS event in Windsor in July/August 2014. WINGS (Windsor International Scouts and Guides) will host 6000 participants from around the World. The camp offers a wide range of activities and gives our youngsters the chance to see something of Scouting and Guiding from around the World. Bill Bookless, Assistant Group Scout Leader with Wargrave is part of the organising team for the event. He said ‘This is a tremendous opportunity for young people to experience a Jamboree type atmosphere. It is hard work pulling all of the different elements together, but I am sure that our Scouts will have a great time’. There is also a visitors day planned for cubs and brownies from Berkshire.
