Cubs

cubs2015

PUMAS – Tuesdays 7pm to 8.30pm
WILDCATS – Thursdays 7pm to 8.30pm

Cubs are usually aged between 8 and 10 ½, some stay in the section up to their 11th Birthday.  During their time in Cubs they carry out a number of different activities and games that enable them to learn new skills in a fun environment. In the summer months both packs spend a number of sessions in Bowsey Woods either hiking, showing the Cubs evidence of wildlife and teaching them how to build and cook on camp fires.

There are loads of fun things to do as a Cub. They get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If they do the activities properly then they are able to get a badge to wear on their uniform.

Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

THERE MAY BE A WAITING LIST FOR CUBS.

At 1st Wargrave we have two Cub packs, Pumas and Wildcats.  Depending on the number of Cubs in each pack and the number of Cub Leaders at the time of your inquiry, there may be a waiting list to join.
