On Saturday 19th March between 2pm to 4pm, 1st Wargrave Scout Group will once again be running the Village Easter Egg Hunt around the Recreation Ground, the Village, and for those more adventurous – the Woods!
The start and end point is Wargrave Scout Hut on the Recreation Ground. Parking is available at the Recreation Ground car park which is accessed from Recreation Road (off Victoria Road).
This is a fun event offering various routes from simple to the more challenging. We hold this event annually and it helps raise funds for our Beavers, Cub and Scout sections. Tickets are £3 for toddlers and £4 for children over 5 years old. Parents are free. Every child wins an Easter egg. There will be tea and cake back at the hut for all the family afterwards. We look forward to seeing you!
This Event is organised and run by the Exec Committee. To help us plan how many eggs we need, please buy your tickets before the day from either Jo Smith (at Robert Piggott Infant and Junior School playgrounds) or Fiona Keen (at Crazies Hill School playground). Alternatively, please email Lesley Thomas or Helen Vonka to arrange to purchase tickets.
