Sunday was Visitors Day adding 3-4,000 families to the 17,000 Scouts and Guides onsite! It was busy! Some amazing pop-up events on the Main Street and a chance to experience other cultures.
Here is a blog post from Luke:
“…We started our day with a group meeting to get ideas for a scavenger hunt to explore camp. With the Finland troop we all said 5 ideas and then the leaders made a list. I wanted to do badge swapping. We set up a stall first on the main road. I found out I am good at trading. I met some Scouts from Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Also same Japanese who were trading Pokemon figures to use for woggles. In the afternoon we went swimming in the other lake this was better with a beach and also a sauna which was hot! It was the first time I had been in a sauna. In the evening we went to the Middle ceremony…”
