Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service

poppy_1512923c

Dear Parents,

It is once again that time of year where we as a village come together to remember those that have fought and lost their lives for our country.

Parade will be on Sunday 13th November meeting at 9:20am in full and correct uniform please, including a poppy to be worn in the shirt pocket or attached to the jumper.  We meet outside of the library and the parade is usually over by 11:30am ending behind the Hawelli Restaurant (former White Hart) and your children can be picked up immediately after the parade.

We do not normally wear coats, so please wear a layer or two beneath your uniform shirt or jumper if the weather is going to be cold.  In the event that it is raining heavily we will relent on the no coats rule.

I do ask that you make every effort to attend this important parade and service.

For those not yet invested you may wear cub uniform, or scout uniform shirt with neckerchief.  If you have not yet got the uniform sorted then simply come along looking smart (maybe white shirt and school trousers?)

Any questions do ask me, or one of your child’s leaders.
I look forward to seeing as many beavers, cubs and scouts as possible on the day.

Best regards,
Pete
