Happy New Year! After last term’s busy and fun programme, we have an action packed 12 weeks planned ahead of us to enjoy. Highlights include Paper Making from Pulp, Japan-In-A-box, Burns Night Celebration, Laser Quest Patrol Challenge, Chinese New Year Cooking, and the repeat of last years hugely enjoyable “Camping at the Hut” weekend!
We also plan to continue to participate in the various competitive events run by Loddon District that count towards the award of the prestigious “Murray Plate” 2014/15.
There will be lots of Badge-related tasks, providing the scouts with a variety of opportunities to try out new things. Subject to completing tasks this may enable partial, or full award of the following new badges:
- ACTIVITY BADGES: Hobbies Activity, Chef Activity
- STAGED BADGES: Nights Away, Emergency Aid
- CHALLENGE BADGES: Creative Challenge, Global Challenge, Outdoor Challenge
