TREASURE HUNT AROUND WARGRAVE

FOR ALL THE FAMILY

Includes an Easter Egg For Each Child!

5th April 2014, 2-5pm, Scout HQ, Recreation Ground, East View Drive, Wargrave

Once again, 1st Wargrave Scout Group is planning a Family Treasure Hunt around the village of Wargrave, on 5th April at 2-5pm from Scout HQ.

With three different courses to appeal to all age groups and abilities, Easter eggs for all participating youngsters, prizes for the fastest times and afternoon tea for everyone, it is set to be a fun afternoon for all the family.

Pre-school age children are invited to bring their parents along to take part in a gentle challenge at the Recreation Ground, while families with children aged up to ten years old can follow interesting clues around a cross-country course through the picturesque village.

Older children aged 10 to 14 years are encouraged to form teams with friends and family to put their orienteering skills to the test in a tougher cross-country challenge.  Prizes will be given to the winners and the honour of being the top team will be yours for a whole year – imagine the glory!

The cost of taking part is just £4.00 per child and £3.00 for the under fours.  Adults go free.  The ticket price includes an Easter egg for each child and an opportunity to win the Treasure Hunt prize.  In order to ensure there are sufficient Easter eggs to go round, tickets should be purchased in advance by either contacting Helen Vonka (hvonka@yahoo.com), or purchasing from Fiona Keen (Crazies Hill playground), Annie McDermott (RP Infant playground) or Andy Silby (RP Junior playground).

The afternoon will start and finish from the Scout HQ in Wargrave between 2pm and 5pm, with no fixed starting times, followed by tea and cake, also included in the cost of the ticket.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  So hurry and sign up for this fun afternoon.
