It’s hard to believe but 1st Wargrave Scout Group has been in existence almost as long as the Scouting movement nationally which celebrated its centenary in 2007.
Over the last century Scouting in the village will have been enjoyed by scores of boys who have grown up loving camping and hiking and all those other activities associated with Scouting. Not much has changed. Today the same activities are enjoyed Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
Scouting in Wargrave is open to boys and girls; providing a structured, adventurous and safe programme of activities in a fun environment enabling youngsters to develop their skills and personalities.
Never has there been a more exciting time to join the Group with openings available within Cubs and Scouts for boys and girls to join.
